Hi Emily & Jamie, Great to see & hear you play in the packed intimate 400 year old 'Globe Inn', Dumfries, Scotland. (The favorite meeting place of Robert Burns), on 21st July. The atmosphere was electric. Your Burns song was haunting, and it was a night to remember. The pretty bird came home. Stuart x.

Hi Emily, I've just been listening to Last FM online and started the thread with Karine Polwart. I was stopped dead in my tracks when your 'The Cruel Mother' was played. It's not often that I'm surprised by my emotions when I'm trying to get some work done! What a fantastic voice you've got. I've had a look at your tour dates. Is there any chance of you coming down to the West Midlands? Pretty please?? Best wishes, Steph (an ex-pat from Stirling)

Your beautiful voice brings great pleasure! The concert in Annan on 19th June was probably the most pleasant evening I have had in months, and I really hope that I get the chance to enjoy such fine company in the future. The prospect of accompanying Richard Thompson must fill you with joy... I shall pray for you and your loved ones. The last album is lovely, and I love your spiritual outlook.

Wow, great songs! As a Scot (from Dumfries) who moved to Canada a couple of years ago, I get homesick and am ready to up sticks and move back home every time I hear Caledonia. I Love Winter Song too. Any chance of you playing in Nova Scotia?

Hi Emily, My wife and I really enjoyed your concert performance on Sunday afternoon in Shetland. I particularly like the silver tassie. I have heard it before sung by the Corries but your performance was much better. Incidentally, the custodian of Roy Williamson's Combolins lives in Shetland in Unst. Loking forward to your new album. Alan

Hi Emily & Jamie, It was very special to see and hear you play at the wonderful folk club in Heiligenhaus, Germany. The audience was spellbound. It was well worth the journey over there. See you again soon. Stuart
